My name is Michele Loewer and my company is Michele Teaches LLC. I have been official a LLC since 2014. I have been tutoring over 20 years. I have also taught in elementary, high school and college. (Combined over 12 years) I taught mainly in the areas of math and science. I also worked with student with special educational needs: high school and elementary. In colleges I was an instructor in the areas of chemistry. My master is in chemistry –Bioinorganic materials-. I love sciences. My favorites are biochemistry-inorganic materials, and neurology (biochemistry). I have also been a nurse and studied homeopathic medicine.(Combined over 15 years) As well as, I was in Research and Development of Tantalum surface mount capacitors in industry for 8 years; great job. I was a youth ministry in two different programs for a total of over 20 years. Sorry, I got off topic.

In 2010, I was working for a tutoring company. They asked me if I could prepare a student for the ACT. I love a challenge and said yes. Working with that student; started my journey down the “Standardized testing rabbit hole”. Learning: why, how, what, what type of questions and again why. Then adding to that my knowledge of neurology, as well as my continued studies on new research on learning, storage, and retrieval of material, likewise the effects of stresses on the brain, I did mention I liked neurology. Then looking into how those chemicals released in moments of stress can be controlled or changed. All this lead me to the Michele Teaches Method, Michele Teaches Program and Michele Teaches philosophy. Michele Teaches is about "More than tutoring". We take a holistic approach to preparing for the test. We focus on three primary areas: review of skills, test strategies and question tactics, and the neurological processes. Each child is given a customized plan to meet their needs.
